


Tania Morton
President
Tania Morton has been competing in Reining, Ranch and Trail show divisions for the past 25 years with many big wins to include ARHA World Champion, APHA Reserve World Champion and most recently, NSBA World Champion at the APHA World Show! During her time in the NRHA arena she has earned over $15,000 in winnings. Tania has been training horses and teaching equestrians for the past 18 years. In addition to her success in the show ring, she is also a certified judge and enjoys judging multiple shows every year. She operates a horse leasing program through her business, The Complete Horsemanship Program. But her biggest passion is being a Mother to her three young boys!!
Gracie Torres
Vice President
Gracie has a BS in Agricultural Business Management and is a lover of all things ranch, with a focus in ranch roping and cutting. She and her husband, Pedro, own Cavvietta Quarter Horse & Cattle Co. in Elm City, NC, where the two of them raise corriente cattle and teach horsemanship. They enjoy producing a host of events at their facility, including ranch rodeos, ranch horse shows, ranch ropings, sortings, clinics, and more! Gracie is excited to be a part of growing the CRHA and hopes that her traditional take of the ranching industry can play a role in preserving the ranching way of life.
Taylor Latham
Amateur Spokesperson & Board Member
Taylor has a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and Business Administration and works for USAA as a Financial Crimes Analyst. Taylor has competed in Arabian shows all of her life, earning 10 National Championships throughout the years and added Ranch Horse competitions onto her resume a few years ago. Since then, she has been an ARHA World Champion Ranch Roper. Taylor helps her parents with breeding, showing and colt breaking at their Southern Star Farm in Lawndale, NC. She is excited about the opportunity to serve on the board of CRHA and looks forward to watching the growth of the Ranch Horse Industry.

Diane McAlinn
Secretary
Diane has been involved with horses for years, from running a boarding stable in New York state, and being on a number of show committees . She is excited to be the secretary of CRHA .

Marsha Henry
Treasury
Maggie has been around horses all of her life, competing on multiple circuits across the United States, including the National level with her Arabians and World level with her APHA and AQHA horses. She is a 4th generation horse woman, following a successful line of family breeders all over the US. Maggie followed in her mother and grandmothers' footsteps continuing a successful Arabian performance horse breeding program. Maggie prides herself in being academically successful, earning multiple Master’s Degrees and her Juris Doctorate, all while being a full-time mother of three wonderful children. Maggie and her husband, Robert, have planted their roots in Lawndale, NC, where they have a successful breeding and show farm, Southern Star Farm. Maggie is the CRHA Treasurer and aims to introduce and educate new horse owners to the wonderful life of ARHA!

Marsha Henry

Marsha has over 40 years in the horse industry through raising and training American Quarter Horse She holds titles in AQHA. IBHA and APHA doing both English and Western. She has been a Judge for 17 years and holds an Open Judges Card through OHSA. Marsha also judged the 2019 Rescue Challenge. Marsha is the owner of M&K Quarter Horses in Fairplay SC. Her goal for the Equine Industry is to make confident horses and riders to the best of their ability.



Kate McAlinn
Board Member
Kate McAlinn is a professional that focuses on both Western and English. Coaching both Western IEA and YEDA youth teams for North Carolina with Tania Morton. Also, very involved in 4-H, coaching Horsebowl, Hippology, and Horse Judging teams, and being committee member for East Qualifying Horse show committee, and president of South-East 4-H Horse Council. Kate has been involved with horses since she was small helping her parents with their boarding business and attended St Andrews College for an Equine Business Management degrees. She is excited to be a board member and help the Carolina Charter grow.
